overview
SICKBOY is a battleship-style 'concept' card game centered on visually striking, tactile card interactions. At its core, the project emphasizes distinct card variants that reinforce character identity and personalization through bold, expressive design.
The game is structured around two opposing yet interconnected player curated decks: defensive SICKBOY characters and aggressive virus-based attackers. This dual-deck system creates a dynamic push-and-pull between protection and offense, where strategy is shaped not only by placement and decision-making, but also by the visual identity and role of each card. The goal was to craft an experience where color, form, and gameplay work in alignment that creates both intuitive and visually engaging experience.
